Sosososo scared! :(

yep, I am and i'm terrified. what is weird is that i'm not really worried about most of my exams, just english, I need a B to do it for A level. My course work which is 60% of the final grade is B+, but my exam didn't go to plan, I knew what to write and included from what I could tell at the time. the right techniques needed for a good grade, but I messed up my timing, I answered every question, questions 1,2 and 5 went well, but questions 3,4 and 6 I messed up timing so some of my answer was good but some was rushed and some I didn't write enough, I'm just hoping that my exam went well enough for me to get a B overall.

Aw hopefully you do get what you intended! you seem very bright so i wouldn't worry :) have you received any results already?

thanks, everyone keeps saying that I will do well, my teachers expect me to get an A! but it was the timeing, that made me worry. I have got my spanish results as I did all the coursework in yr10 which gave me 60% A*, I did my exams in Janurary and somehow managed to get full marks in my listening exam, which was werid as I considered it to be my worst part of spanish and I got a C in my reading which according to my teacher gave ,me an overall grade of A, but I was 1 mark of an A* so I retook my spanish reading in June, I'm garenteed an A but I would love an A*. I know 50% of my science grade, is an B+, but I don't know what the rest is.

what exams are you feeling most confident about?

Aha i have no confidence in any of them , i truly worked my best this year but i always let my nerves get the better of me and i so mess the exam up that's why i have no idea as to how i am going to survive year 11 :( you've done so well jee i wish i was like you! :D

well I don't know I've done well yet, at the moment all I care about is doing well in english, all the other subjects I want to take for A level don't have any specific entry requirements, well i'm taking IT and that needs a C, but I got a merit for that in GCSE which is a B, so that's fine. I'm nurvous about most of them but I'm confident about geography as I got A* for both mocks, so now i know I can do it I really want an A* (actually I am a bit nervous about it).

just a tip for the real exams in the summer, treat them like mocks; that way you won't be so stressed about them, but put 100% effort in, and try and get into the exam mood before the exam, I always do better if I'm in 'exam mode' :)

ya its annoying as during mocks i do so well and everyone has such high expectations of me and then i do terribly in the real thing which really gets me :/

I hate it when teachers expect you to get really high grades when you know what you that it isn't very realistic, my target for english was A but I think b was more realistic, same for history, however it's also annoying when they underestimate you, my spanish and geography targets were B but I was working at A*, but it does mean you feel more clever when you get 2 grades above your target which is cool :)
