Somehow only just realized that there's a new book in cherub which I've not read, I'm working on it now :)
yh theres a new one.. my lil bro was readin the series n he was tellin me bwt it.. its called the "People's republic".. are u readin it ??
lol, I WAS, finished now though :)
heyyy umm how bout 50 shades of gray.....such an amazin book!!!
lool u need 2 read all 3.. XDDD
thanks, but as NOT a perverted creep, I like to read books which aren't sexually explicit... and which have decent writing style, interesting plotlines, likeable characters.... aka, not 50 shades of bullshit :)
Have you tried some older books? Like Wuthering Heights or Jude the Obscure? Forgive me if i'm being boring, but they're really good!
Also if you don't mind a book that's powerfully depressing, I'd recommend 'The Road' by Cormac McCarthy, as well as his 'Border' trilogy.
And how 50 shades of grey sold even more than Harry Potter I will never understand.
the hunger games
cool, thanks Ode for ur recommendations..
n lool thnx but 50 shades of grey... really ?? nowhere near my style XD
are the hunger games good ?? ive never read them.. but thinkin bwt it..
i rad the hunger games and thought they were amazing. I personally felt that the film was a bit lacking but still better than i expected
i would read it , a great book that makes you apreciate the things you have
wow i am sooo deep LOL xD
omg ♥ Secret ♥! U need to read the hunger games! they r soo good!!
lool cupcake XD every1 tells me to read them but i never got round it.. n unless its really good i wont bother readin it
COMMON MISCONCEPTION! 50 shades sales data is skewed. that statistic about beating HP is only in PAPERBACKS, HP also had huge success as a hardback which they've chosen to ignore. -.- my pride as a potterhead it offended by these claims
in other news, HG is really great, and I certainly reccomend it :)
wait, sorry- it's the hardbacks only, there's tonns of paperback HP books knocking around :)
HEYYYYY long time no book suggestions :L I can't think of any off the top of my head, can anyone suggest something for me? :) In other news, I've been going in at lunch with some friends to help in my school library and we've almost sorted all the books out :)
Kissing Shakespeare by Pamela Mingle (and its not boring even if it might sound it)
Wardstone Chronicles by Joesph Delaney
The Boy called IT
The Boy in the striped pyjamas

Percy Jackson Series (and the subsequent seris Heroes of Olypus- 3 books published so far) by Rick Riodan (Greeks and Romans) or Kane Chronicles if you prefer Eygyptians
Tresure Island, Kidnapped and Catronia by Robert Louis Stevenson
Power of Five and Alex Rider, Antony Horowitz
The Hobbit and Lord of the Rings, JRR Tolkin
Just a thought: does anyone here buy/sell/swap books on Green Metropolis and Read It Swap It
