don't panic! I have a feeling it's going to be slightly easier than the specimen papers!

good luck everyone, we'll all do great :-)

(if not we can pray for low grade boundaries!)

those specimen papers------POO,i just gave up!

but i found the November 2011 paper ,it happened this academic year,so technically isn't it the new spec?...http://www.bland.in/GCSE%20Maths/maths3.nov11.pdf -but no mark scheme unfortunately, but it's not all that bad....

they're awful aren't they!

that looks like an old spec paper to me, but i'm not sure :/ I thought the new spec ones had the thing about the * questions at the beginning?

I agree with  Leah, the new spec papers have * in them and the old spec papers were still running last year, :)

Take some water in with you, you can't concentrate properly otherwise, even if you are just 2% deydrated. :) good luck for this exam and any others! :)

Hi all. I'm one of the moderators here on GetRevising. I hope you're all finding the site to be useful and that the exam season is going well for you. However, I have to post here to make an important announcement.

You may not be aware of this, but Edexcel exams are taken across the world. This means that people in one country might have finished an exam that hasn't even started somewhere else. In order to make the exams as fair as possible (and to discourage cheating), I'm therefore going to have to lock this thread before any sensitive details can be posted, that those who haven't yet taken this exam might gain an unfair benefit from.

You'll be welcome to resume discussion of the exam after midnight tomorow, at which point everyone should have completed the exam. Again, I hope that this went well for all those of you taking it!
