Advice on taking maths GCSE early.

  • 0 votes

I have the chance to take my maths GCSE in ether November or March. Or wait until i was suppose to do it a year and a bit later.
On a GCSE past paper i got a C/B ( in the middle.) My target grade is A. I am unsure it would be achievable and when.

I have hugely improved in the past year and i have lots of help form my parents at home. Also if i take it early the school would provide a private tutor for me.

What do you think ?

Thanks

I did it early, and luckily I achieved an A (which for me was a minor miracle...) but some people didn't do as well as they could have done and they now have the oppertunity to resit. I would accept the chance to do it early, as in two years time you'll be incredibly stressed and unable to focus all your time on the maths GCSE, and if it all goes wrong now, you still have the oppertunity to resit... Hope this helped with your decision :D
