A levels and university?...

I'm planning on doing maths, further maths, physics, geography and music at AS level, starting this September. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what university courses these subjects could lead on to? Any help/ideas/suggestions would be appreciated! Thank you :) x

Hi Sophie

If you don't know what you want to do when you're older then I suggest this, go onto this website http://www.bestcourse4me.com/explore/?Tab=ALevel and you type in your a-levels and it shows you which degrees most people go into after studying your a-levels or you can work backwards and put in which job you want to do and then see which degree you would need or would be most useful.

I have already done the research for you and after studying your chosen a-levels most people take degrees in:

  • Maths
  • Economics
  • Physics
  • Mechanical Engineering
  • Computer Science
  • Physical and Terrestrial Geographical and Environmental Sciences
  • Business Studies
  • Civil Engineering
  • Music
  • Pre-clinical medicine

These are just the top 10 choices so do some further research into these courses and see if any of them interest you or if they're not have a look at the website and see if any of the other degrees for those a-levels interest you.

I hope this helps and good luck with your choices :)
