A level options!!

I am going to take biology, chemistry and maths but I don't know what to take for my fourth option! I was thinking about psychology or sociology, but I don't know! Is anyone currently studying these subjects? Any advice would be appreciated! Thank you for your help x

Hey, I did sociology last year and I loved it. If you enjoy evaluating and exploring issues regarding society, both past and present then go for it! It wont be the hardest course if you decide to choose it so it might take the pressure off a bit! Sociology looks at the individual in relation to the greater society; how the two interact and respond to each other. It also looks at general trends in society and looks to find why this occurs. It will help you to have a better understanding of politics and public policy, as well the causal effect behind people's decisions and feelings.

Psychology though looks at the individual and sees why the individual is the way he or she is. it looks at learning, motivation, body rhythms, thought processes and other things.

I have a couple of sociology resources, check them out and see if it interests you **

Chemistry is really difficult but if you are motivated and you like it then you should find it ok. I didn't really like it that much so I dropped it last year

Depends what your future plans are. However I highly reccomend, if you are thinking of going to a good university, to take a more traditional, "hard" subject, such as Geography, a science, maths, English, economics etc.

However if it is one of those two then I really think you should do Phychology.
