You should have the prospectus and the grade boundaries by now.

If you've had replies and invitations to induction day, then you'll be absoloutley fine with the subject specification.

But the only thing you'll need to worry about after that is the ENTRY grades (of sixth form, not subject. e.g. they may need 3 C's in GCSE).

Oh and 1 more thing, if its a grammar school, you'll need an A+ for the subjects your going to study!

it depends on the sixth form several factors may have an influence on it

i.e. reputation; grades

however, usually they want at least 5 A*-C

but if you ask me it is abit late in the year to be worrying about this you should have had your sixth form finalised at least before easter, it takes some of the stress off.

at least 5 C's in core subjects (english, math, science)
Whatever you want to do your A level in you need to get a B at least,

most sixth forms/colleges have their own point systems too.

I go to a grammar school, and unless you're doing further maths, you only need Bs in the subject.

Normally, its 5 A*-C's you need to get to do 3 A Levels, to do 4 A Levels, it is required to get 7 A*- C's.

every sixth form has different grade boundaries.

if you want to carry on GCSE subjects onto A Levels, you need at least a B or above. To do something different, you need at least a D or above.

hope it helps! =)
