      • Working as bouncers provided young men with both paid work & opportunity for illegal business ventures as well as opportunity to show masculinity
    • Bodily Capital
      • For men to maintain their reputation & employability, men must use their bodily capital
      • Its not just a matter of being able to use violence & win fights but maintaining the sign value of their bodies 'looking the part' - discouraging others to challenging them
