      • Extensive use of tubular steel and synthetics so it could be mass produced at a lower cost
      • Furniture became more minimalistic and streamlined to be more comfy

      • Used in 1920s for communication
      • 4 million sets in 1930
      • Used to democratize culture
        • Also used by radical LW as propaganda
