    • Wavell was not given enough time to properly prepare without him in command in greece
      • His troops were taken off the totally flawed campaign
      • And due to the preparations of this expedition failed and the germans invaded
    • His early success in North Africa were thrown away and Wavell did not have enough resources to meet german forces and that expedition also failed
    • Therefore in the end he took the blame and was demoted
