- You are responsible for making sure the vehicle isn't overloaded
- Can effect handing, steering and braking
- Securely fasten any load on roof rack
- Heavy load= reduced stability
- Driver: resposible for ensuring all children under 14 wear suitable restraint
- Restraint must be suitable for Childs weight and size

- Helps handling of vehicle if you have stabilisers
- If what you're towing has a braking system must be fitted with device to stop trailer automatically
- If it starts to shake- ease off accelorator and reduce speed gradually

- On a three lane motorway: 60mph speed limit- can use left and centre lane only
