    • If breaking in an emergency, both hands on wheel for control

      • When visibility is poor but not seriously reduced= used dipped headlights
      • Through a ford/flood= higher gear, drive slowly, test brakes afterwards
      • Use lights/fog lights if visibility is less than 100m
      • MOTORWAY LIGHTS
        • Red studs= mark left hand lane of carriageway
        • Amber studs=mark central reservation
      • If you're dazzled: slow down or fully stop
      • Driving at night
        • One motorway use dipped headlights
          • Side lights if you've broken down on hard shoulder
