    • Has Christmas lost its real meaning? (YES)
      • 1. Christmas is a christian celebration yet non-Christians celebrate it
        • 2. The religious link to Christmas has been lost, so meaning is lost
      • 1. Many think of Christmas as just receiving and sending gifts
        • 2. People have forgotten the true meaning of Christmas is to celebrate the birth of Jesus
    • Why is reconciliation important?
      • 1. Gives Catholics the chance to strengthen relationship with God
        • 2. A stronger relationship with God  improves your faith and trust in God

        • 2. This gives them a fresh start and reassures them to know they are forgiven

        • 2. (Catholics) the Catechism says that baptism is necessary for salvation
        • 3. Without it, the person cannot receive the other sacraments

        • 1. Holy orders because without no priests means no sacraments
        • 2. Mass because it brings Christ into Catholics' lives every week
        • 3. Reconciliation because it forgives the sin you commit after baptism
