    • The material a river has eroded is called transportation.
    • 1:TRACTION large rocks are pushed down the river by the force of the water.
    • 2:SALTATION where pebble sized particles are bounced along the river bed due to the force of the water.
    • 3:SUSPENSION small particles like slit or clay are along by the river
    • 4:SOLUTION soluble materials dissolve in the water and are carried along
    • When a river drops the eroded material it's transporting.
    • It happens when the river loses velocity.
      • The volume of the water drops
      • Amount of eroded material increases
      • Water is more shallow
      • When the water reaches its mouth
