  • Trans-nationalism
    • This means that it doesn't matter where you live (permanentlyor temporarily)as economic and social boundaries between nations are becoming rather blurred.
    • There is a new found freedom meaning that people are quite often moving away from home and creating diasporas and therefore there is cultural hybridity and people may try to blend in which is a form of assimilation
      • Cultural Hybridity is where you take several cultures and become a mix of them.
        • This could be because there is multiple cultural backgrounds in the family or due to the fact that the person has moved away and adopted a different culture.
