    • Respect
      • Different parties recognize and respect one another as moral equals
        • Rights and resources are allocated so as not to favor a specific group
    • Permission
      • An authority gives permission to a minority
        • To live their own way but within certain limits.
    • Esteem
      • Citizens esteem (value) one anothers lifestyle. They positively allow one anothers view and practices.
        • Diversity and difference is a value in itself.
    • Coexistence
      • Different groups roughly equal in power agrees to tolerate one another
        • for the state of social peace/their own interests
