  • The most important thing a Muslim can do is to submit to Allah
    • Arguments For
      • The Pillar Shahada (Decleration that Allah is the only God) shows that Muslims submit to Allah.
      • The Pillar Hajj (To go on pilgrimage) shows that Muslims are very faithful to their God. They also say that they feel wonderful after going on pilgrimage. This suggests that to go on pilgrimage as a Muslim, is very important to them. This is also shown in the way that the Muslims want to go on Hajj for their entire life!
        • Allah and Islam are very important to Muslims and evidentially are great to Muslims when they interpret the Qu'ran correctly.
          • The Pillar Shahada (Decleration that Allah is the only God) shows that Muslims submit to Allah.
    • Arguments Against
      • If you show blind obedience to the Qu'ran you may not understand it correctly.
      • If you interpret the Qu'ran incorrectly, you might not do the correct thing (e.g Jihad)
        • The terrorist gang, ISIS, interpreted the Qu'ran incorrectly and as a consequence are beheading people.
          • If you show blind obedience to the Qu'ran you may not understand it correctly.
