- 15,000 men in navy, six battleships, some smaller ships
- Rhineland - between Germany and France demilitarised (Germany wasn't allowed to station troops there, to provide a buffer zone between Germany and France

- Former Kaiser, and other German leaders to be tried for war crimes
- Germany not allowed to join the League of Nations until it could demonstrate that it was peace-loving
