- Christianity is the main religion in Britain
- There are three main traditions/branches
- Catholic: split from catholic Christianity in 1054 BC. Normally done in eastern Europe
- Protestant: split from the Catholic Church in the 16th Century and made more denominations
- Orthodox: based in Rome and led by the Pope

- That there is only one God (monotheistic religion)
