- The Equality Act is all the previous equality acts (Disability Act, Race Discrimination Act) All together to make it easier for PWUS to use.
- 12.3% of the UK population is from minority groups.
- Sexism is the worse it has been in a long time due to media

- ‘a woman’s place is in the home’,
- Thereforeemployers will not employ women.
- People with a disability Cannot have independence.
- Therefore carers will do everything for the PWUS as they are incapable.
- Being gay is wrong.
- Thereforethe employer will fire the individual for sexual orientation

- Is when people aren't given equal opportunities and rights. They are treated unfairly and experience discrimination.
