- Mantle is the thickest layer with a diameter of about 2900km. It's semi-molten rock but the top is hard rock. Convection currents are found here.
- Crust is a solid layer with a thickness between 10-60km, thickness of an apple skin.
- Inner Core is a liquid layer and made of iron and nickle. Extremely hot temperature round about 5,500°C.
