Stem Cell differentiation

  • Stem Cell Differentiation
    • A stimulus causes some genes to become activated and other to become inactive in the stem cells
      • The genes that are active are them able to be transcribed.
        • The mRNA formed from the transcription of the active genes if then translated into proteins
          • These proteins modify the cell by determining the cell structure and the cell processes
            • Changes to the cell due to these proteins cause the cell to become specialised
