- States of matter
- Name the 3 states of matter, and the physical changes that occur between them.
- Gas, solid and liquid
- Untitled
- Physical changes between a liquid and a solid is freezing and melting. Between a liquid and a gas states are vaporisation, evaporation and condensation.
- Describe the arrangements and movement of particles in the different states of matter.
- Liquid- Particles are quite close together but still can move.
- Solid- Particles are all touching and can't move
- Gas- Particles are not close together and can move freely.
- Explain why the energy of particles changes during changes of state.
- When an object is heated the motion of the particles increases as the particles become more energetic.
- Name the 3 states of matter, and the physical changes that occur between them.
