- Neurons: A neuron is a nerve cell that carries electrical impulses. Neurons are the basic units of our nervous system.
- Corpus Callosum: the part of the brain that is linked together, the purpose of these nerves is to allow the two hemisphere to pass information.
- The senses: smell, hearing, touch and vision (left visual field goes to right hemisphere and right visual field goes to the left hemisphere)
- Broca's area: speech production
- Wernicke´s area: speech comprehension on the left side of the brain in most people
