- When the men join the woman, they perform a simple routine in unison or pairs, giving the impression of the conventional movements of a standard vocal backing group
- Towards the end of the dance the soloist throws herself into the men's arms and they manipulate her in more twists and turns developing the material she previously performed on her own

- Lots of turns with loose arms above the head
- Typical of Bruce's style with a low centre of gravity and flowing movements
- Emphasis on yearning arabesques and off balance, turning movements which propel the dance along
