    • Some Christians say that men should be dominant and women should be submissive, look after house etc.

    • Liberal Protestants look at Jesus' actions for guidance. he permitted them to be followers and showed respect
    • Less 'traditional' Christians tend to view men and women as equals and believe they can have leadership roles in church
    • The Anglican Church ordained its first women priests in 1994- views have changed recently
