          • C: Corrymeela is in Northern Ireland, a place where Protestants and Catholics can come together in harmony.

      • The United Nations created in 1945 stated the HRs.
      • c: Liberation Theology began in the 1960s by the Catholic church stating that "Christians have a duty to fight against poverty, oppression and injustice.

      • C:  Pilgrimages may be done to strengthen faith as it is a personal choice. It could be done to get closer to God or cure. MIRACLE AT LOURDES.
      • A religious journey made to please God.
      • I: Mecca the place where Muslims circle the Kaaba. This is a duty for all Muslims, unless it is impossible then I will forgive.

      • CoE: It is allowed if ****, it will save the mother's life or the child will be disabled.
      • I: 120 days the soul is formed, it will protect the mother, mass-****.
      • Catholic: Life is formed when sperm meets egg, every sperm is sacred, only allowed if it will save the mother's life. DOCTRINE OF DOUBLE EFFECT.

      • AiD=Artifical insemination by Donor
        • AiH=Artifical insemination by Husband
    • Euthanasia
      • Assisted suicide, to legally help someone die.
        • Illegal in the UK as doctors take an oath to save patients lives not kill them.
      • Sanctity of Life
        • C: God is involved in each human's life, life s sacred and a gift from God, only God should take life away and Jesus taught that all life should be valued.
        • I: Every soul has been created by Allah, Allah has a plan for each life and no one has the right to take their own or anyone else's life away.
    • Criminals
      • Why do we punish criminals?
        • Deterrence= stopping someone committing a crime before it happens.
        • Retribution= justified revenge.
        • Protection
        • Reformation= so they change their behaviour.
        • Reparation= pay back the victim and society.
        • Vindication= to show people that authority are in charge.
      • Capital Punishment
        • I: Acceptable IF murder, terrorism or adultery.
        • C: "Eye for an eye"
        • C: "Thou shall not kill." - Ten command-ments.
          • C: "Eye for an eye"
