- Reliability
- Internal Reliability; whether the procedure is standardised so that each participant experiences the same thing
- External Reliability; the extent to which the results of the procedure can be replicated
- Split half method; applies mainly to self reports, whether results of two halves of a questionnaire are similar
- Test-Retest Reliability; whether you can get similar results when testing participants on two or more separate occasions
- Inter-rater Reliability; two or more observers, observe the same behaviour in the same way and agree on results (80%+)
- Reliability; the idea of consistency or replicability
