  • Reliability
    • Split-half
      • A way to rest internal reliability, it is done by splitting a test in half and seeing to what extent the scores on the two halves correlate.
        • How, in a test with multiple measure, to what extent different questions which measure the same thing get the same result.
    • Inter-rate
      • Related to observations. Two different observers produce the same observation - if they get different results, it will have a low inter-rater
    • Test-retest
      • A way to test external reliability, getting the same person to do the same experiment again.
        • If the same test were to be done on the same person, it would get the same result. All about consistency.
    • External
      • If the same test were to be done on the same person, it would get the same result. All about consistency.
    • Internal
      • How, in a test with multiple measure, to what extent different questions which measure the same thing get the same result.
