- This is where, because of Jesus, god saves humanity from their sins and reuniting them with god in heaven
- TO SAVE THEM FROM THE WORLD
- Christians will turn away from sin but if they are to sin, they know that their god with forgive them
- Christian escatology
- WHOEVER BELIEVES IN HIM SHALL NOT PERISH BUT HAVE ETERNAL LIFE
- Christians believe that when they die they will be judged by god on the day of judgement and god will determine if they go to heaven or hell
- Some catholics believe in purgatory which is where someone will go to hell to pay for their sins before going into heaven
- AFTER DEATH THEY WILL UNDERGO PURIFICATION
- The problem of evil
- Christians believe that god is omnipotent (all powerful) and benevolent (all loving) so will question why he allows evil to occur
- There is moral evil and natural evil
- Solutions to evil
- Many christians will pray, read the bible or contribute to society with the intention to restore peace
- God gave christians free will and many christians believe evil and suffering are consequence for human actions
