- Whereas Labour are more concerned with community solutions to crime
- Policy interventions
- Educate offenders, giving them a chance in education, giving youth prisoners life lessons whilst inside- to prevent reoffending
- Restorative justice programmes- bring together the victim and offender- to make the victim understand the impact of the crime, thus preventing reoffending
- Easier access to rehabilitation for substance abusers- most offend to feed their habits. This can prevent reoffending
