      • Disadvantages
        • Cannot be mass produced, a lot of time spent, expensive, waste materials, labour intensive, can't keep up with demand
      • Advantages
        • High quality, specialised workers, better quality fabric, sell at higher price. Not waiting on anyone
    • Item bundling
      • Disadvantages
        • Staff aren't specialised in one area, lower quality, low output if workers are slow and less productivity
      • Advantages
        • Easier for workers as all pieces are together. One person makes whole garment. Consistent and gain skills, know process and foresee problems
    • Group bundling
      • Disadvantages
        • Partially specialised staff, repetition is de-motivational
      • Advantages
        • The particular group can be made liable for mistakes, builds high skill in one area. Social staff morale and quick.
    • Progressive bundling
      • Disadvantages
        • Less staff morale, workers laid in a line. Repetitive work leading to de-motivated staff
      • Advantages
        • Machinist can be skilled  in a particular area, increased performance,good consistency is maintained and less pressure
    • Unit production system (UPS)
      • Disadvantages
        • Equipment may break, workers have less communication with staff, Added pressure and less social aspects
      • Advantages
        • Slow workers are quickly identified, low labour costs and efficient
    • Modular/team based
      • Disadvantages
        • Staff fully responsible for mistakes. Team members rely on other team members
      • Advantages
        • Highly skilled operators, garments finished quickly. Success is measured, carry out quality control
    • Section production system
      • Disadvantages
        • De-motivation. Slow workers. Can't help out other areas
      • Advantages
        • Staff become highly skilled at one particular area. Human resources are used well and no wasted time
    • One piece flow system
      • Disadvantages
        • Lack of motivation, boring, time consuming, mistakes and back log of garments
      • Advantages
        • Specialised at making. Simple system with less confusion
    • Overhead production system
      • Disadvantages
        • Health and safety issues, things falling on people/machines. Equipment may break and stop production. Maintenance costs
      • Advantages
        • Less floor space is needed, less walking and saves time
    • Piece rate production system
      • Disadvantages
        • Can be wastage of garments, de-motivational  Ethical issues
      • Advantages
        • Improves efficiency, saves money on wages
