      • The CELL WALL is made of cellulose which strengthens the cell and gives it support.
      • The CHLOROPLASTS contain chlorophyll which absorb light energy to make food by photosynthesis.
      • The PERMANENT VACUOLE is in the cytoplasm and is filled with cell sap in order to keep the cell rigid for support.
      • The NUCLEUS controls the activities of the cell.
      • The CYTOPLASM is where most of the chemical reactions take place.
      • The CELL MEMBRANE controls what enters and leaves the cell.
      • The MITOCHONDRIA is where oxygen is used and energy released.
      • The RIBOSOMES make all the protein that is needed in the cell.
