        • 1) Gather all equipment needed and set it up as shown in diagram
          • 2) Calculate the mass of the irregular object using the balance.
            • 3) Fill the eureka beaker with water until it's pouring out of the spout, place it on a higher surface than the measuring cylinder(which is placed underneath the spout.
              • 4) Place the irregular object in the eureka beaker, collecting the overflow from the spout in the measuring cylinder
                • 5) The volume of water in the measuring cylinder is the volume of the irregular shape
                  • 6) Use the mass and the volume to calculate the density, using the equation given.

      • Method
        • 1) Calculate the mass of metal block using the balance. Units=kg
          • 2) Measure the temperature using the thermometer
            • 3) Heat up the metal block using a heater
              • 4) Measure the temperature change using the thermometer
                • 5) Calculate the energy, using the equations
                  • 6) Rearrange /\E= m x c x /\0 to find c in Joules.

      • Method
        • 1) Set up equipment as shown in diagram
          • 2)Connect an ammeter is a series, a voltmeter in parallel to the wire
            • 3) Attack the crocodile clips 10 cm apart on the wire
              • 4) Take a reading from the ammeter (current) and voltmeter (potential difference)
                • 5) Repeat the steps for 20cm, 30 cm, 40cm and 50cm.
                  • 6) Calculate the Resistances using the equation.

      • Method
        • 1) Set up the equipment as shown in diagram
          • 2) The ammeter is connected in a series and the voltmeter connected parallel to the component.
            • 3)Take a reading from the ammeter(current) and the voltmeter (potential difference)
              • 4) Change the current by adjusting the variable resistor
                • 5)Take a new reading and continue the steps until you have atleast 5 readings
                  • 6) Calculate the resistance using the equation
