    • Gross Motor
      • Gross motor skills are actions that involve you moving your muscles. Gross motor is large movements of the body for example, moving your legs or waving your arms about.
    • Fine motor
      • Fine motor skills are actions that involve you using your smaller muscles in your body. For example, using your fingers or you toes
    • Puberty
      • Puberty is when an adolescent goes through the process of turning into an adult. The body starts to develop and certain changes happen. For example, boys will start to grow hair under their armpits and in other places.
    • sexual maturity
      • Sexual maturity is when you reach the age of an adolescence and are mature enough to be able to reproduce an organism.
    • Growth spurt
      • A growth spurt is most commonly associated with people in the adolescence life stage however it usually starts with the individual at the age of ten. It is when the individual grows in height rapidly in a short space of time.
    • Physical maturity
      • Physical maturity is when your body grows and develops and your hormones are changing too. For example, you will experience mood swings and will be angry one moment and happy in the next. This is all part of maturing physically and links into puberty.
    • Menopause
      • Menopause is something you experience in middle adulthood normally as a woman. Once you have gone a year without your period you  have reached menopause and are no longer able to naturally conceive a child.
    • strength
      • As you come into later adulthood you start to loose your strength that you had when you were younger. This is because you are no longer as physically active so you find it harder to do activities you were once able to do.
    • Mobility
      • Mobility will become more difficult as you approach later adulthood. This may be because of arthritis or simply because you are older and activities take you longer than they use to. The end result will be that simple activities may be more time consuming for you as you are unable to do them as quick as you once could.
  • Muscle
    • Once you come into Later adulthood your start to become less active so your muscle around your body will start to turn into fat. This can go on you cause health problems if you gain large amounts of weight.
