  • Photosynthesis
    • Carbon Dioxide + Water~ Light Energy ~Oxygen + Glucose
      • Light is absorbed by Chlorophyll in Chloroplasts
    • Glucose Sugar produced
      • Used to produce fat and oil stores
      • Used to produce protiens
      • Used in respiration
      • Made into larger starch molecules to be stored and then consumed later
      • Used to produce Cellulose which strengthens cell walls
    • Limiting Factors
      • Artificial Controls
        • Greenhouses can control the Limiting Factors
          • Can speed up and increase quality of Photosynthesis
            • Grow Faster
            • Grow Bigger
            • Grow Stronger
      • Temperature
        • Temperature levels increase = Photosynthesis speeds up
          • As the Temperature approaches 45 degrees Centigrade, the Photosynthesis process stops
            • Enzymes controlling Photosynthesis start to denature at 45 degrees Centigrade
      • Carbon Dioxide
        • Carbon Dioxide levels increase = Photosynthesis speeds up
          • After a certain point there is no more effect of carbon dioxide levels, as Light Intensity and Temperature become the limiting factors
      • Light Intensity
        • Light Intensity levels increase = Photosynthesis speeds up
          • After a certain point there is no more increased effect of light intensity, as Temperature and Carbon Dioxide become the limiting factors
    • Need: Light; Carbon Dioxide; Water; Chlorophyll
