      • They have a board view by accepting a range of a range of relationships
        • It ignores what is special about blood/ marriage
      • Rejects structural explanation (top dow) and ignore ideas that external factors may influence our behaviour
      • Helps us understand the meaning of our own lives
      • Acknowledgethat relationships are not always positive and may include cases of harm
