    • Penetration testing is when organisations employ specialists to simulate potential attacks on their system. It is used to identify possible weaknesses in their system. The results are reported back so the system can be fixed
    • White-box hackers
      • It simulates a malicious insider who has knowledge of the system
      • The person carrying out the test will be given user credentials to see what they can do with them
    • Black-box hackers
      • It simulates a external cyber attack
      • the person carrying out the teat will not be given any credentials, but will try to hack in any way they can
