      • PARTY DISCIPLINE ensures that MPs tend to use the judgement of their party, NOT THEIR OWN
        • Therefore, they do NOT TRULY REPRESENT THEIR CONSTITUENCIES
        • This RESTRICTS FREEDOM of DEBATE & VOTING in the HOC
          • Many do not vote because they think it's a waste of time
    • EXECUTIVE CONTROL
      • Parliament's ability to SCRUTINISE the EXECUTIVE is WEAK
        • This is because the GOVT of the DAY usually has a MAJORITY CONTROL of the HOC
          • This means MOST of their PROPOSALS will be PASSED
            • WEAKENS OPPOSITION
