      • The Law
        • They can put laws in place to restrict the media from publicising anything they like
          • Liberal laws forbids untrue statements to be released that may cause them dislike
        • Most laws don't allow the media to publize anything that is untrue and may affect a person or society
      • The Ofcom
        • The office of communication is a media regulator
        • Its is responsible for keeping the audience interested and the product was at a high standard
          • But they still made sure it protected them from offensive and harmful effects
      • The BBC
        • The make sure the BBC remains independent of any pressure and influence from any other sources
        • They are funded by the state meaning they have control over BBC
      • Independent Press Standards Organisation (IPSO)
        • It monitors standards of journalism in newspapers and magazines
        • It deals with accuracy, invasion of privacy and harassment
