    • Christianity
      • the Bible states God created animals and put humans in charge of them
      • Animals are part of God's creation and they should be treated with respect, but at the same time they can be used for food
    • Islam
      • Animals are part of Gods creation and should be treated with respect
      • Killing animals for food is allowed providing no suffering occurs
      • Animals are also allowed to be kept as pets and work for people as long as they are treated with respect
      • No animal must suffer unnecessarily and none are to be used for sport or luxury items
      • Muslims will be judges on how they have treated animals
