    • Business Decisions
      • A choice made between alternative courses of action in a situation of uncertainity
      • A decision which is made for the good of the business - The product, the brand or the complany
      • Decision making can be difficult
      • Sometimes businesses make no decisions which can be an opportunity missed
    • Marketing Decisions
      • A marketing decision support system (MKDSS) is a system for marketing activity which helps businesses explore different  scenarios using existing data
      • Similar to business decisions but decisions which are made so that they are mainly linked to the marketing function, marketing strategies, plans and marketing mix
      • Both Business and Marketing decsions are made to achieve an aim, objective, target or to avoid/overcome a problem, they both need to be considered carefully by conducting research and collecting information to make the appropriate choice
