- A marketing decision support system (MKDSS) is a system for marketing activity which helps businesses explore different scenarios using existing data
- Similar to business decisions but decisions which are made so that they are mainly linked to the marketing function, marketing strategies, plans and marketing mix
- Both Business and Marketing decsions are made to achieve an aim, objective, target or to avoid/overcome a problem, they both need to be considered carefully by conducting research and collecting information to make the appropriate choice
