    • These branch off into secondary precepts which Aquinas make apparent are not absolute as they can change as circumstances do. 
      • Preservation of life = do not kill the inncocent
      • Order in society= Abide by the law of the government
      • Worship God = Go to church and pray
      • Reproduction= no not use contraception
      • Education= Pursue knowledge and truth
    • Once we have obeyed Natural law, we will reach Eudemonia and flourish and be allowed into Gods Heaven. 
    • Criticisms
      • Not everyone believes in God or natural law
        • If the Synderisis rule is innate, why do some ppl do evil and not good
        • 3rd world countries who have an issue with aids are encouraged to use contraception for the prevention of aids. Thus going against the primary precept reproduction
        • If we all have natural law why are some people gay
