        • Great Surgery-1361- dominated surgical knowledge in UK and France for 200 years.
    • John of Arderne
      • Most famous surgeon in Medieval England.
        • Manual-Practica-1376- contained illustrations of operations and instruments. Based on Greek and Arab knowledge and experiences from war
          • Used opium and henbane to dull pain
      • In 1368, he tried to separate surgeons from lower-class barbers by forming a work association in London.
