        • rubbish is thrown into a pile and burnt
          • wildlife eat this and get poisoned or die

      • advantages
        • revenue supplies water, education
          • multiplier effect
        • masia sell souvenirs to raise money for people in village
      • disadvantages
        • because it is game park they have to settle in one place
        • there land is fenced off this disturbs the natural; migration routes of aniumals
        • tourists are pressured to buy things at expensive prices
        • lose their traditional ways

        • 2 & 3 on the butler model, rapidly developing
        • tourists attracted to beaches and tropical climate

        • locals cover up their whole body and are offended by the bathing suit the westerns wear
        • African culture has been altered and changed
          • westerns have brought over alcohol, drugs and a lack of moral standards

                • deserting their religions
        • hotels not authentic
          • could be anywhere in the world
    • Mombasa marine park
      • advantages
        • statutes of a  marine conservation  park
          • regulations in place to protect it
            • eh bouy's to  attach boats to instead of anchoring
      • diadvantages
        • ecological and perceptual capacity have been exeeded
        • boats anchoring and people standing on choral kills it
        • boats  do not use buoy's, rules not being reinforced
        • 40 tonnes of shells and choral are being removed
