- 1. Depression Effected japan deeply, people left unemployed and trade was low.
- 2. Manchuria appealing due to natural resources.
- 3.In September 1931, there was an explosion on the Manchurian Railway, sabotage.
- 4. Japan used this an excuse to take over the area.
- 5. Japan took over and placed soldiers in and set up 'Puppet Goverment'
- 6. China appealed to LoN about Japan taking over.
- 7. Japan said that the area was getting out of control.
- 8. League instructed the removal of Japan.
- 9. The league create the Lytton report which said Japan were to blame.
- 10. In 1937 Japan took over the whole of China
- 11. Japan also left the League.
