        • He didn't want to kill Duncan in the beginning
        • Repetition of "His"
          • Macbeth recognises he should be loyal to Duncan
        • "Kinsman" shows Macbeth is very close to him, some sort of relation

          • Evil thoughts, Dark, he isn't planning on acting on them

        • Patronising his wife, different compared to act one
        • "Be" imperative; him commanding his wife
          • Switch of roles
        • Killing Banquo, doesn't include her in his plans to kill him
        • "Dearest Chuck" implies child (Chuck = chick = child)

      • Malcolm calls Macbeth "Black Macbeth"
        • Differnce to what Duncan calls him in act one, big chnage
        • Adjective "Black", poisonous or dark
    • Act Five
      • "I will not yield"
        • Macbeth says this before he is killed
        • Doesn't give up right until the end
        • "Not" not willing to give up, heroic
