              • Ralph's meeting has a few main points to stop them falling apart.

                • "Faces by the brute obtuseness of the ocean, the miles of division" The whole experience,like the sea, is never ending, the hope is lost in the vastness of the sea
                  • Piggy, Ralph and Simon are not invited to the feastand are on the fringes of the microsm for being different and

                    • From Merridew to Jack to Chief he has transformed and the hieachy reflects the loss of social rules
                      • Chapter 10-The Shell and The Glasses
                      • Jack is showing the other boys that you are either with him or against him. + Quashing all future ideas of rebellion
                        • Chapter 12- Cry of the Hunters
                          • THEY ARE SAVED
                            • At the final chime of twelve the boys are saved from there own fate and all due to the smoke from Ralph's fire proving that he was the smartest and best leader overall.
                              • Ralph is allowed to be saved by Humanity so that Golding can show that pessimism does not always win and that people can never fully change from themselves.
