    • Circulatory System
      • The heart develops more coronary arteries
        • Meaning greater supply of blood bringing oxygen and nutrients
      • The arteries become larger and more elastic
        • More efficient in carrying the increased blood supply during exercise
      • More red blood cells are produced in large bones of the body carrying more oxygen by the blood
      • All this means for the same number of heart beats you are able to have higher work rate
    • Skeleton
      • Bones become thicker and have greater mineral content, so they kept  strong
      • Joints are kept flexible
    • Respiratory Systems
      • Intercostal muscles and diaphragm becomes stronger
        • Vital capacity and ventilation improves
      • The surface are for gaseous exchange increases
