    • Frames
      • Lightwave has Keyframes and the Frames are displayed clearly on the screen, You can set the Frames per second to what you would like it at.
    • Preloaders
      • Lightwave requires a Custom built preloader and therefore a Plugin is required.

      • The layers within Lightwave are quite simple and you can have unlimited layers, you can set what parts of the animation you want on each of the layers, there is a drop down which allows you to pick what layer you want.

      • Lightwave has Motion Tweening which act the same as the Motion Tweening within Adobe Flash, However it is a more difficult method than what is in Flash as you have to manipulate it frame by frame but it can still produce the same smoothness.

      • Plate Matching- Placing objects in pictures is made much easier
